Kindergarten Pre-Registration
Welcome to District 44!
We are so excited to have you join our Lombard community and schools.
Each District 44 elementary school hosts Kindergarten Pre-Registration for the upcoming school year at the end of February or early March. Please see the information below for more details.

All elementary schools will host kindergarten pre-registration appointments on the following dates:
Thursday, February 27 from 5-8 pm
Friday, February 28 from 7:30-11:30 am
Please contact your school to schedule your appointment after you have completed a pre-registration packet. Packets are available for pick-up starting February 3.
What forms need to be completed?
Starting February 3, please pick up a kindergarten pre-registration packet at the front door of your home school (For Butterfield Elementary, packets will be at Door 14 in the north parking lot).
When all forms are completed, call your home school to schedule a packet drop-off appointment on one of the two available dates.
Who can register?
Kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year is for students who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025.
What do I need to bring to my pre-registration appointment?
Completed Registration Packet
Certified Birth Certificate: Proof your child will be 5 by Sept. 1, 2025.
Three Proofs of Residency:
One of These: Tax Bill, Mortgage Papers, Lease, or Letter of Residence.
Two of These: Utility Bill, Driver’s License, Public Aid, Vehicle Registration, Receipt from moving van rental, Homeowner’s/Renter’s Insurance Policy
