District 44 Community Connections Fair

District 44 Connect Center
The Community Connections Fair is a brand-new event designed to bring together District 44 families, staff, students, and community partners for an evening of exploration, creativity, movement, and celebration.
This districtwide event blends the best elements of past favorites—like the STEAM Expo and Family Fitness Fair—into one interactive, hands-on experience for all ages. It is free and open to all District 44 families, community members, and staff. No registration is required.
Explore activity zones throughout the Connect Center, each offering unique opportunities to learn, try something new, and connect with community organizations:
Dive into science, nature, and technology through interactive experiences such as:
STEM challenges and engineering builds
Robotics and drone demonstrations
AI- and computer-science-based activities
Nature exploration and wildlife artifacts
Agricultural science activities
Meet organizations from across our community and learn about:
Local history
Youth programs and camps
Financial literacy resources
Educational and community services
Bring ideas to life with hands-on art and design opportunities, including:
Art and STEAM make-and-take projects
Building and construction challenges
History-inspired creativity stations
Get active with movement and fitness stations led by local groups:
Strength and conditioning challenges
Soccer and sports activities
Dance demonstrations with audience participation
Movement games
Bounce Houses
