District 44 does have in place a fee waiver form for families to complete when experiencing an extreme financial hardship. More specifically, the Superintendent or designee will give additional consideration where one or more of the following factors are present:
- Illness in the family;
- Unusual expenses such as fire, flood, storm damage, etc.;
- Emergency situations;
- When one or more of the parents/guardians are involved in a work stoppage.
If you are a family in need of utilizing a fee waiver, please discuss your circumstances with your child's principal. Additionally, you can find the fee waiver form at the bottom of this page. You will be provided a response within 30 days of your request.
