Families and Guardians of Lombard District 44 are eligible to receive free or reduced fees. There are two types of eligibility to receive free or reduced fees:

 

A student's eligibility for free or reduced-price food services is determined by the income eligibility guidelines and family-size income standards set annually by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and distributed by the Illinois State Board of Education. District 44 does have in place a fee waiver form for families to complete when experiencing an extreme financial hardship. More specifically, the Superintendent or designee will give additional consideration where one or more of the following factors are present:

• Illness in the family;
• Unusual expenses such as fire, flood, storm damage, etc.;
• Unemployment;
• Emergency situations;
• When one or more of the parents/guardians are involved in a work stoppage.

 

If you are a family in need of utilizing a fee waiver, please discuss your circumstances with your child's principal. They can provide you a form to complete, if applicable. You will be provided a response within 30 days of your request.
