SUPPORTING EXECUTIVE FUNCTION
DEVELOPMENT at HOME
Thursday, April 20, 6pm to 7pm

John Schroder Early Childhood Center
1519 S Grace Street, Lombard

Executive function refers to skills that help us focus, plan, prioritize, work toward goals, self-regulate behaviors and emotions, adapt to new and unexpected situations, and engage in abstract thinking and planning.

In some children, executive function issues present as trouble with impulse control, tantrums, and difficulty in self-regulating emotions. For others, challenges with school organization, time management, and remembering instructions are more visible.

Fortunately, these skills are adaptable and responsive to improvement strategies. During our time together we will discuss how you can best support your child's development of these skills as they grow and mature.

Mark your calendars now, and plan to join us at the John Schroder Early Childhood Center on Thursday, April 20 at 6:00 pm. Please RSVP for this session by contacting Yvette Policastro by email ([email protected]) or phone (630-827-4431) and include your child’s name and school.
