2020-2021 New Student Registration Documents

 All registrations are to be received or postmarked by August 1st and a $20 late fee will be applied to registrations and payments received after August 12th. 

In the beginning of August, building secretaries will resume processing registrations and assisting with needs other than registration. Please check the district and school websites or use the help form conveniently located on all home pages for additional assistance.


Online registration is for returning students only and is open June 1st through early-August.

Returning Student Registration 2020-21
The majority of 2020-2021 registrations for returning elementary and middle school students can be accomplished online and begins June 1st. Skyward Family Access Login information will be mailed home the beginning of June.
Skyward Family Access help sheets are available below in the Additional Individual Documents section. These may be downloaded and printed to assist families in the online registration process and also for resetting Family Access passwords, if needed




K-5 New Student Registration 2020-21
Registration for families new to the district will open on July 6, 2020. Starting on this date, once you have completed the new student registration packet, please contact the following individuals to schedule an appointment in order to turn in the completed packet and other required documentation:

You will receive an e-mail/ call  back within 24 hours indicating when you may come to Madison School, 150 W. Madison, to meet with Mrs. Clark or Mrs. Donovan in order to complete the registration process. They will also share with you what documentation you need to bring. 

In addition, for any family needing in-person assistance, including access to a device, we will offer this from 4-8 pm on July 14-16 at Madison school, 150 W. Madison. You will need to schedule an appointment to come in during these hours by emailing Mrs. Clark or Mrs. Donovan.

Parents/guardians of new students must present the following documents to their home school to enroll their child:

Three proofs of residency:
  • One of the following for the residence at which the student(s) resides:
      • A current property tax bill showing parent/guardian as the owner
      • A current mortgage statement showing the parent/guardian as the owner
      • A letter of residence
      • A current, original signed lease showing the parent/guardian as the tenant (on an annual basis)
PLEASE NOTE: The board of education has a policy stating if a pupil's change of residence is due to the military service obligation of the person with legal custody of a student, he/she may, with a written request from legal custodian, maintain his/her residency as determined prior to the military obligation.
    • Two of the following showing the address for the residence at which the student(s) reside: 
      • Current gas, water or electric bill
      • Driver's license
      • Public aid
      • Vehicle registration
      • Receipt from moving van rental
      • Current homeowner's /renter's insurance policy and payment receipt
  • Legal Custody/Guardianship Documents - If there are any legal documents pertaining to custody of the student, you must provide a copy of that documentation. This includes divorce decrees and temporary legal guardianship papers. 
  • A signed Illinois Transfer Form if the student is transferring from an Illinois public school.
  • The student's original birth certificate with embossed seal. Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year for which they are being enrolled.

Glenn Westlake Registration Materials 2020-21
The following documents are designed only for middle school students and their families. 
Information about 2020-2021 Glenn Westlake Walk-in Registration dates is still pending due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please refer to the District 44 website or utilize the help form conveniently placed on the homepages of District 44 and all schools.
