Third Grade: A’s or B’s in Music, PE, Science, & Social Studies. 85%
Exceeds or Meets in those standards
Fourth & Fifth Grade: Meets or Exceeds on 90% of standards and A’s &

5th grade students who perform at a significantly high level on their 4th and 5th grade report cards, and score at the superior level on the spring achievement test in fifth grade are eligible for the honor. Specific percentiles on GPA's are sometimes changed due to change in assessment format. These guidelines are given to 4th and 5th grade students annually as they are updated.
This award is a national honor, and it is given at the discretion of the Principal and staff. Behavior, attitude and effort can exclude eligibility. |
