Short Term Targets:
- By 2011, all District 44 schools will show performance gains in reading within each grade level cohort as measured on the Reading ISAT in grades 3-8.
- By 2011, all District 44 schools will show performance gains in math within each grade level cohort as measured on the Math ISAT in grades 3-8.
- By 2011, District 44 schools will show a decrease in the number of students who are eligible for special education services.
Long-Term Target:
District 44 schools will increase the “meets and exceeds” performance of each subgroup including racial/ethnic groups, students with disabilities, Limited English Proficient and economically disadvantaged when analyzing appropriate comparison group(s) by 5% per year in order to close the existing achievement gap.
