WELCOME TO THE DISTRICT 44 SCIENCE FAIR!

SAVE THE DATE:  March 4, 2017 District 44 Science Fair for K - 5 Students

Judging Appointments between 9:00 - 12:00

Viewing Projects between 2:30 - 3:30

This year we are offering students in grades K-5 the opportunity to join the District 44 Science Fair. The 2017 Science Fair Packet will be posted on the district website by December 6, 2016.  If you are new to the Science Fair, please download the Science Fair packet from this website or pick up a paper copy from your school office after this date. The large packet contains everything you will need, including the registration forms, timelines, scholarship application, directions and the judging forms. There are Teacher Liaisons and Parent Liaisons at each school that are available to help your child with the Science Fair experience. All of the contact emails and phone numbers are listed in the large packet.  (We will no longer be producing a smaller packet, as this often limited our new science fair participants in knowing all of the key information.)

We had our Science Fair assemblies for the students in all 6 elementary buildings on either December 6th or December 7th.  The students gained valuable information on how to plan a successful science fair project.  The first important date to remember is the registration date on Friday, January 6, 2017.  The registration forms for Experimental projects and Non-Experimental projects are due by 3:30 in your school's office.  Please check out the pdf files in the bottom right corner to locate the forms in the large packet.
